ARM was founded by a group of former athletes and fitness fanatics who understand the power of plants, and were frustrated by the limited quality vegan protein products available on the market. Instead of continuing to endure the unpleasant experience of vegan protein powder, they decided to make their own. After years of market research and taste-testing different protein blends using pea, soy and hemp, the Company stumbled across Almond protein which had no after-taste and was jammed pack with nutrients.
Fast forward to today, ARM has been formulated to be one of the cleanest protein solutions on the market, using only ethically sourced, all-natural ingredients, to deliver a highly effective and delicious protein recovery blend.

SHAYNE TAKER
CEO – Co-Founder
After winning an NCAA National Men’s Hockey Championship with the University of Notre Dame, Shayne went on to become an NHL professional hockey player. He founded ARM with one goal in mind – to design an ethically sourced, all natural product that could bridge the gap between athletic performance and vegan supplements, without having to bare the gritty texture and unpleasant tastes that plague the market. Shayne continues to live an extremely active lifestyle and believes in only using the best quality whole foods to fuel his body.
ROB PENZ
COO – Director
Rob is a former professional beach volleyball player, who then went on to become a serial entrepreneur. He is an expert in the design, development, manufacturing and distribution of health and wellness products. He has successful built numerous businesses and prides himself on helping young entrepreneurs chase their dreams. For ARM, Rob oversees the growth strategy, manufacturing, packaging and distribution in our GMP certified facility located in Surrey, British Columbia.
STEPHANIE STEWART
Co-Founder
A former 2x CIS Women’s Soccer National Champion and marathon runner, Stephanie now spends her time as a Strength and Conditioning coach and group fitness instructor. She is an advocate of clean living and strives to be on the leading edge of personal health and wellness. Whether it’s hiking with her 3 year-old daughter or training her clients in Vancouver, Stephanie is a firm believer that our bodies are made to move, and when combined with clean-eating and healthy lifestyle habits there is no limit to the improvements one can make to improve their quality of everyday life.

Like the founders, Brian was tired of the unpleasant experiences current vegan proteins offered which ultimately turned him away from vegan supplements. Fast forward to today, Brian takes ARM after workouts, games and intense training to gain an edge on recovery.

Anders is a professional hockey player for the New York Islanders and father of two girls. The Lee family lives in Minnesota in the off-season and promote an active, clean and nutritious lifestyle to raise their girls in. Like many, Anders wanted to bridge the gap between performance and vegan supplements that can be taken on its own and directly after workouts.
